Beautiful carved ivory handled corkscrew with inlaid Sterling grape motif

I was lucky enough to win this beautiful piece on ebay recently. The handle is carved ivory with inlaid Sterling silver grape leaves and clusters as well as a Sterling collar above the shank. The majority of the ivory has been "inked" which is very unusual unless it is done as a monogram or family crest. Nonetheless, this is an absolutely flawless corkscrew and a great addition to the collection. Don't be surprised if it makes its way to the grape themed board featured in An Ongoing Project.
